Cedar West Lothian

Cedar is an evidence-based, multi-agency initiative for children, young people (aged
4-16) and their mothers, with the key aim of helping mothers to understand the
impact of domestic abuse upon children and to support children in their
recovery. It is a therapeutic 12-week groupwork programme with groups for
children, young people and their mothers. The Cedar approach, framed through
the eyes of children, directly addresses the impact of domestic abuse,
empowering children and young people to build happier, safer futures.
